I am looking for the family of Randall A. Navarro from Southern California. I believe his mother's name was Kathrine Johnson and she worked at a cleaners in San Pedro, CA in 1973-1974. He has two children that I know of, Melissa Navarro and Brian Navarro.

Looking for the family of Salvatore Navarro/Navarra. His wife was my great-grandmother's (Carmela Difalco) first cousin and I am trying to find out more about her family. I have her aunt Antonia Spingola travelling with her to the US in 1907, and she lists son-in-law Salvatore Navarra as closest relative.

Salvatore and his family owned a bakery in San Francisco in the early half the the last century.

MUSCATINE, Iowa - Angelina Navarro Viuda de Letona, 97, of Muscatine, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Reverend Raquel Aguirre will officiate the service. Casket bearers will be Julio Cesar Menjivar Jr., Jesus Antonio Ibarra, Fortunato Rocha Jr. and Carlos Rocha. Honorary Bearers will be Carlos Reynaldo Martinez and Julio Cesar Menjivar Sr. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Angelina was born on June 1, 1912, in San Salvador, El Salvador, the daughter of Pedro and Matea Hernandez Navarro. She married Jose Antonio Letona in 1941, in San Salvador, El Salvador. He preceded her in death in 1960.

She had lived in Muscatine for the past six years with her family.

She enjoyed the company of her family and attending family gatherings. She loved to tell stories from her past.

Survivors include one son, Carlos Reynaldo Martinez and wife Olivia, of California; two daughters, Maria Nirma Bonilla and husband Julio, of Australia and Marta Lidia Menjivar and husband Julio, of Muscatine; 10 grandchildren, Oscar Letona and wife Yolanda, Lupita Letona,
Nidia Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Eduardo Martinez, Jeffrey Martinez, Lisett Bonilla, Yesenia Isabel Ibarra and husband Jesus Antonio, Julio Cesar Menjivar Jr. and wife Griselda and Roberto Francisco Menjivar and wife Frances; 19 great grandchildren; two brothers, Abel Navarro and wife Celia, of El Salvador and Andres Navarro and wife Josefina, of El Salvador; two sisters Herminia Navarro, of Los Angeles, CA and Hilda Navarro of El Salvador.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson – Erick Bonilla, three brothers, Raul, Alonzo and Manuel Navarro.

Do you know if Enrique had alot of brothers and if one of them was Emmanuel-"Manolo" Navarro? He was my grandfather and I remember hearing about Enrique and Luis when I was little. My grandfather was originally from Canary Isalnds and then lived in Cuba before coming to Miami with my grandmom Margarita. My name is Dannielle. maybe we are related.

Hi. my name is Dannielle Sandfort. My grandfather was Emmanuel ("Manolo") Navarro of the Canary Islands, born around 1900. I know he had 10 or 11 siblings, one who was Luis from Mexico (City). He and my grandmother Margarita(B. 1906) who was from Sien Fuegos, Cuba, emmigrated to Miami/Coral Gables, then to NYC area around 1950. They had 1 child, my mother. My father's family is also from San Lorenzo. Sadly, I don't know much about his family. His mother died when he was born and he was then passed on to another couple that raised him.

My father was from San Lorenzo as well. I really do not know much about his parents exept that his mother died when he was a newborn. I believe his fathers name was Melchor Navarro and his mothers name was Blasima Figueroa. Who know's, we may be related...good to meet you!

and Rosario. She had a brother named Santos born Apr. 25, 1899 Mex. Alberto I'm not sure when he was born, Ernesto
born Oct. 24, 1910 Mex. Dolores (sister) married to Cayetano Hernandez, Ignacia no info. Carlotta was the niece
of Pedro Amabisca who was married to Elvira and they had
one daughter Carolina born Jan 1, 1914.

Hi,
I am trying to find my husband's ancestry for him, his grandmother recently passed away unexpectedly. His great-grandmother was Vicenta Navarro, who married Rafael Longoria. They lived for several years in Eagle Lake, Colorado Cty, Texas. We met one other relative at the funeral, Gerry (Geraldo/Gerardo/Jerry) Longoria who goes by Tio Lalo in the family; he is currently in the Dallas, Texas area. We are told there are Navajo bloodlines somewhere, likely on the Navarro side. Rafael was adopted, do not know his birth last name (he was from Mexico). Any help is appreciated!

Your question is several years old, but as it turns out, your Mom, Clair is my first cousin. My Dad, Andres was the oldest of 7 brothers and 1 sister. I believe your grandfather, Manolo, was the 2nd youngest of the boys. Your great grandfather was Vincente Navarro Gonzalez. I have photographs of him and of all of his children.

I'm just starting to do a bit of preliminary research on our family myself, but I may have information that is helpful to you.
Our ancestors are from Pamplona. They migrated to the Canary Islands, and in the mid 1800's, to Cuba. If you still are looking for information, your mom has my phone number.

I think that my Grand Father was from Leon Guanajuato and his name was Cleofas Navarro and his Father's name was Leandro, I'm not for sure where he was born but believe that he had move to Califonia and died there. I believe that my Grand Father's wife was Pascuala and her perents were Antonio Rocha and Felisa. And my Grand Father's mother was Gregoria. I hope I didn't confuse you. Have a great day

Hi I think we're related. I believe those are the names of my father's great grand parents. He is from San Francisco del Rincon, Guanajuato, specifically from this little ranch named San Roque de Torres. That is all I know, but I can try to ask my dad to see if he knows more.

My middlename broke the cycle due to my birth on the same month my other grandpa passaway which his name was Amadues Guzman Saenz... Researching the history my my last name even though it was given by the foster family that raised my dad.... Her name was Martina R. Navarro and she was buried in Mercedes, Tx on the same plot as her spouse Antonio Navarro II. His death was in 1942..but I have been getting other reports of another navarro in 1941.....don't if its typo.... well any navarros' out there let me know. I am looking for information on a line of the Navarro family the came from Mexico to Texas to California. The immediate family of Navarros that I am seeking out live in Tulare County, California.

The farthest name back that I have is a great grandfather by the name Narcisco Navarro (1893-1990). I believe he was born in Mexico, moved to Texas, and died in California. He married Rosa Vallejo Solis (1901-1985) She was born in Texas and died in California.

I believe Narcisco and Rosa had 8 children. One of those children was a son named Jose Vallejo Navarro. He was born in either 1927 or 1929 and died in 1983. Jose married Esperanza Saldana and they had 11 children.

Any information on this line of the Navarro family would be greatly appreciated.

My grandmother's name was Francisca Navarro Escribano and she was born in San Lorenzo in 1920, at least that's what we think. Her parents were Tomas Navarro y Olmeda and Paula Escribano Martinez. I would love to share info and find out even more about them.

My GGrandfather was Ildefonso Navarro, one of her daughters was my grandmother Maria de Jesus Navarro.

I believe they were born in or around the San Francisco del Rincon, GTO. area.

Hi to all you Navarros out there. My Grandmother was a Navarro. Her father was Antonio(Tunin)Navarro-1876-1953.His father was Manuel Navarro. He was married to Carmen Nazario and later,Antonia Marrero. Manuel's father was Don Francisco Navarro and his mother was Dionicia Acosta. I was told and the records show them as being from San Juan. I was told he had 10 children from both wives. One of the wives died in an epidemicin the 1880's He may have died then as well. Sorry, Its not the same family. My Navarros were from Puerto Rico. I have traced them back as far as the early 1800's so far. What I would suggest for you is to try using the Mormon family search center in your area. I got alot of info from my grandmother before she passed away. With that info, I ordeed the birth, marriage and death records for the approximate time frame and town. The Catholic church kept amazing records. They list both th parents and where they were from in the marriage records and death records. That will give you leads whee to look next. Good luck in your search. Joyce Santiago_MAloy
