Robert Charles Naylor, 73, of Concord, died Wednesday at his home. He was born in Concord, the son of John and Bertha (Osaba) Naylor Sr. He graduated from Concord High School. He served with the U.S. Air Force from 1948 to 1952, serving in Germany with the Air Police. Naylor worked for Concord Electric for 37 years. He was a member of the Elks and the American Legion, both of Concord. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Beverly (Datson) Naylor of Concord; three sons, Stephen Naylor, Mark Naylor and David Naylor, all of Concord; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A brother, John Naylor Jr., and a sister, Virginia Naylor, died previously. Calling hours will not be held. Graveside services will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at the Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord. The Rev. David Jones, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Concord, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 21 Centre St., Concord 03301; or the CRVNA Hospice Program, P.O. Box 1797, Concord 03302-1797. Bennett Funeral Home, Concord, is in charge of arrangements.
