Mamie Etta Neal, b. 12 Nov 1897 at Manhatten, KS, d. 23 Aug 1975 at Abilene, KS. She married William Jennings Sare 19 Aug 1916. Mamie's parents are Samuel Ledger Neal, b. 22 Feb 1868 at Jasper, Marshall, Iowa, USA, d. 24 Aug 1937 at Abilene, Dickinson, Kansas, USA; mother is Ella Melinda Singleton, b.23 Jun 1878 at Saline, Kansas, USA, d. 10 Apr 1958 at Dayton, Columbia, Washington, USA, m. 03 Sep 1895 at Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas, USA. They had 14 children: Samuel Oscar Neal, Mamie Etta Neal, Melinda Alsada Neal, Archibald Monroe Neal, Mrytle Ruth Neal, Daniel Ledger Neal, Robert Eli Neal, Baby Neal, Rose Ella Neal, Clifford Ray Neal, Leroy Elmer Neal, Martin Wayne Neal, Jesse Allen Neal, and Richard Dale Neal. I am one of Leroy Neal's daughters. Most of the kids lived in the Abilene, Kansas area then moved to the Pacific NW, some ending up in Dayton and Walla Walla, WA.
