Surnames: Needham, Shipley, Shepley
Hello, hoping someone can help me out with this. I am searching for Elizabeth Needham. I will start with what I know...
My Grandmother was Annie Holland Shepley b. 1879 to Sidney Shepley and Emma Penton. Sidney's parents are Anna Louise Needham and Richard Shipley who were both from England. Told she comes from Oldham? Her mother's first name is all that I have so I am guessing that her married name was Needham, unless she was unwed and Elizabeth Needham would then be her maiden name. She shows up in the 1880 census living in her grandson's house at the age of 92. She was bon in 1788. I have no idea who her husband was or her parents. I don't even know who Richard Shipley's parents were. So if any of this sounds at all familiar to you, please contact me.
