I am a descendant of the Nehrings, and this is what i know so far. My mother's mother's mother was born Dorothy Nehring (that's not her name now, and she's still alive), Dorothy's mother was Martha Nehring born March, 7 1902. Martha's father was Fred Daniel Nehring (b: Jan 26 1861, d: Nov 22 1950) and her mother was Paulina. Fred Daniel Nehring's Father was Daniel Nehring and his mother was Herietta Rekow. And that's as far as I'm sure. Because Daniel and Herietta migrated to the US from Germany. If you have any informatin regarding the Nehrings I would really appreciate it!
