Ronald Jay Neibaur Sr. "Jay" On June 23, 2011 Jay Neibaur's name was called to play a 18 holes on the great golf course in the sky; with his good friends Boyd Openshaw and recently deceased Norma Purrington. Jay was born in Rigby Idaho on March 27, 1934 to George and Stella Neibaur. On May 27, 1953 he married his wife of 58 years Wilma Neibaur. Jay joined the Idaho National guard in 1950 and was called to active service in 1956 were he served as a medic / disc jockey at Fort Riley in Kansas until he was discharged in 1958. He then moved to Salt Lake city to worked for Sperry Uni-vac until 1963 and then he started his 37 year career in the automotive parts industry working for several dealerships until he retired from Gus Paulous in 1996. After retiring he worked part time at Ace hardware till 2000. He loved to joke, travel, play golf, fishing and enjoy the staying up at his getaway property up in Fairveiw. He is survived by his siblings Norman, Deloy, and Ila; his loving wife Wilma and son Ronald Jay Neibaur Jr and daughter-in-law Susan Neibaur; four grandchildren Brandon Lansing, Amber and Louis Domingez, Ronald Jay Neibaur III, and Lisa Neibaur; one great-grandchild Jasmin Dominez; and several neices and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday June 29, 2011 at 12:00 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary at 3401 South Highland Drive. Online condolences may be made to www.wasatchlawn.com
