SOUTH JORDAN, Utah - Lila Neibaur, 78, beloved wife and mother and longtime former resident of the Rupert area, died quietly at her home in South Jordan, Utah on Wednesday, July 12, 2000.
Lila and Bruce Neibaur were among the very first to pioneer the breaking of farm ground north of Rupert in 1951. Lila was known for her great devotion to family, country and her faith,
serving in numerous leadership positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including nine years as stake Relief Society president.
Lila is survived by Bruce, her husband of 60 years, her daughters Jeneane, Nancy, Annette, Peggy, and her son Bruce - and by numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at the Paul LDS Stake Center at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2000, with Bishop Daryl Neibaur officiating. Having always considered Idaho home, interment for Lila will be at the cemetery in Paul.
Viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2000, at Hansen Mortuary Rupert Chapel. There will be no viewing at the church.
