I have run into a wall when searching. The earliest record I can find of my grandfather is the 1900 Federal census from Indian Territory Oklahoma and I find that his name and that of his brother and two sisters is incorrect. He is the step-son of Joseph Nevill. The name is listed as Lemuel Nabors but we know that is my grandfather, Lindsey Ellis Neighbors. His brother was Jesse and his sisters were Mary and Trudy. His Mother was Ida Stewig (I think) Neighbors Nevill and half siblings are John, Thomas and Maude. I believe his father's name was Robert Lee Neighbors and he died around 1895.
