ANDALUSIA, Ill. -- Daniel Ray Neill, 59, Andalusia, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, at the VA Home, Knoxville.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, Muscatine, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Neill was born on Nov. 13, 1943, in Independence, Mo., the son of Joseph and Eva Hanson Neill.
He was a baptized member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He had his pilot's license and loved flying. He also enjoyed the river.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1962-1966.
He was an electrician from 1962-1985.
Survivors include a son, Glen Neill of Evless, Texas; a daughter, Lisa Johannsen and her husband, Mike, of Blue Grass; two grandchildren, Whitney and Sarah; a brother, Jim Neill of Strasburg, Mo.; and two sisters, Shirley Andrews of Starke, Fla., and Norma Higgs of Independence, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Neill
