Moriah Center — Carol A. Nephew, 60, died Monday, June 4, 2001, at her home on Center Rd. in Moriah Center.
She was born on Aug. 17, 1940 in Port Henry, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Tromblee) Kelly.
She was retired from B.F. Goodrich in Vergennes.
She is survived by her husband, Cledas Nephew of Moriah Center; her mother Mary Kelly of Moriah; one son Marty Nephew of Moriah; two daughters, Cheryl Titus of Ballston Spa and Kelly Lane of Canton, Ga.; five grandchildren Travis Nephew, Regan Titus, Jared Titus, Paige Lane, and Logan Lane; four brothers, Francis Kelly of Port Henry, Robert Kelly of Mineville, Edward Kelly of New Fairfield Conn. and John Kelly of Saratoga Springs.
She is pre-deceased by her father Edward Kelly.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Port Henry, with Father Michael Toth officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Moriah.
Donations may be made in Carol's memory to the Town of Moriah Ambulance Squad.
