My Dad was born 14 FEB 36 he has a twin brother David Floyd Neubauer.Their parent's were Earl Bernard Neubauer and Gertrude Janet Gersley. Earl died in 1961 and Gertrude died in 1960.
Mathais&Maria Neubauer Saint Louis, Mo(imm.to US 1920??)

I am in search for some information on my grandparents. I know that they came to the US via boat in approx.1920. I also know that they are from Austria and one was from Hungary.I believe that they came here to be close to a relative of my grandfather. Mathais died in 1973 and Maria died in 1977.I know very little of the lives in Europe, and I know of no siblings. My mother was born here and never met any relatives and really never mentioned that she had any from "the old country". If you could help let me know. My grandmother's maiden name was Schubershitz. (not sure of the spelling) Thank you.

McKEE DELORES "DOLLY" M. (NEUBAUER) Born on May 7, 1936 to George and Gertrude Neubauer, Dolly was one of nine children. After a three year battle with the devil (known as cancer), my sweet darling left me on December 8, 2003 at 8:05 a.m., having kept her promise "until death do us part." Dolly is survived by her husband, Daniel (Mickey), and chose cremation so that when he joins her she will forever be held in his arms, her children and step children, Bob, Leslie, Patricia, Michael, Daniel Jr. and Chris. Also grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews, too numerous to name, and her brothers and sisters, George Jr., John, Cliff, Joe, Lorraine, Maddy and Rose. Since Dolly is to be cremated please send a contribution to San Diego Hospice in lieu of flowers. Their love and devotion to her care was wondrous and our thanks are endless. There will be a quiet gathering of family to help with her husband ' s bereavement and to celebrate Dolly ' s life. Our thanks to everyone. Please sign the guest book at obituaries.uniontrib.com Published in the San Diego Union-Tribune on 12/16/2003. (volunteer submission)

Hello!
I´m desperatly looking for siblings of Mrs. Katharina Neubauer, born 1906 in Würzburg/Germany and died there in 1988. She was married to Johann (Hans) Bäuerlein. One of sisters was called Marie Neubauer, later named Kraus, who moved from Würzburg to Kornwestheim/Germany.
Some of her siblings (sisters I suppose) emigrated to the USA in 1920s/30s. One sister Betty moved to New York and married a man named John. They had a little postcard-shop there, as far as I know, though that won´t help you, I´m afraid.
Does this sound familiar to you??
Thank you in advance!

Neubauer / Wilburn connection

My great great grandfather John Wilburn was married to
Katherine Neubauer. I am not sure she was my g/g/grandmother
but she probably was. The census records say she was born in
Germany, but her daughter Magdaline said she was from
France. Magdaline was born in Logan Ohio in 1867, and
married a fellow named Nathaniel or Nathan Caple. John
Wilburn was born in Kentucky, probably around 1825. I would
guess his wife's age to be about the same. I dont know when
or where they were married, but my great grandfather
Moses Wilburn was born in Dayton Ohio in 1856. So between
1856 and 1867 they relocated to Logan Ohio. I have scant
information about Katherine, one of her great grandsons
remembered seeing her when he was about 6 or 7 years old.
The great grandson was born in 1910 and died in 1991. He
told me shortly before he died that he remembered her being
small of stature, and having a French accent. If anyone has
any info on this Neubauer line please let me know.
Thanks................wil wilburn

William and Bertha Neubauer Germany to Ill.

I have a little new info on my Neubauer family, so I wanted to share it in hopes of finding more relatives. William and Bertha Neubauer, probably born around 1860's, came to the U S about 1900, with children, Walter, born 1886, Arthur, next younger, Anna, next younger, and Erich, youngest, born around 1900, the babe in arms on the trip to the U S.
They had 3 more children after arriving in the U. S.. Ellen, Herb, and Dorothy. Walter was my husband's grandfather. He was a ship captain for many years, and then worked for Marshall Fields in later years. I believe he worked in Chicago in later life. Anyone know this family, or have ties? I would love more info. Thanks Kay Neubauer
nqh@earthlink.net

I am searching for any family member of Ronald D. Neubauer. He was killed in action in Vietnam. While searching for a name on the Vietnam Wall I came across his name. Needless to say it was a life moving experience when I read "our" name on the wall. I too am a Vietnam vet. He entered the Army from Palm City, Florida. I have been searching for any of his family members for some time now. Anyone who has any information regarding him or his family, I would appreciate them getting in touch with me. Thank you in advance.

Albert/Emma Neubauer Lutter connection- Newark, NJ early 1900's

Hermann LUTTER married Emma NEUBAUER, date unknown, but must have been between 1890 and 1924. Herman died in Monmouth County July 3, 1924. Emma was listed as the surviving spouse on the death certificate. I only knew about the first wife, Clara UHL, whom he married in 1888.

Furthermore, Herman sued Albert NEUBAUER, a mental incompetent, for room and board. According to the court case (125 A. 113), Albert died an old man on October 13, 1921. Rose SEIPEL administered his estate.

Any relatives out there who can shed light on these connections?

Frank Neubauer Family- New York

I am trying to run down the descendants of Frank Neubauer of New York. Frank was born in 1854 in New York City. His parents, Henry and Susana Neubauer, emigrated from Germany (location unknown) in the early 1850s. Frank married Elizabeth Schwarz in 1889. They had six children: Frank N. (1890), Frederick R. (1892), Clara D. (1894), Paul (1899), Elizabeth (1902), and Walter (1907). As of 1920, Frederick was living in Pearl River Village, New York, married to Gracia (LNU), with a child Alene (born 1917). Frank N. died in 1947 in Westfields, New Jersey, where he was the high school principal. Paul died in 1971. Walter died in 1978. That is about all I know. If any of these people are familiar, please reply here or call me at (703) 404-2578. Thanks for any help out there.
