I am searching for information on the family of Peter Jefferson Newberry/Turner b 9/5/1880 possibly VA. d 12/9/1958 in Middlesboro, KY. He was married 11/13/1902 to Virginia Florence Stevens in Buchanan Co. VA. He abandoned this family and Florence later divorced him. They had 3 children-Effie, Samuel and Robert. He then married Alice Rose but used Turner as his last name and had 5 children by her. He and his family probably lived in McDowell, Blount or surrounding counties of WV or VA. Those boundaries changed often so it is a guess. I found the daughter of Samiel Newberry and we are now looking for additional information on our grandfather and his family.
