Harry Lee Newcomer
Of 300 First street, Williamsburg, died yesterday morning at 10:50 o’clock at the Nason hospital, Roaring Spring, of complications. Mr. Newcomer was born on Oct. 17, 1892, in Canoe valley, a son of William and Sarah (Whitsel) Newcomer. He was married on July 4, 1911 to Bertha Evans at Tyrone. Surviving are his wife and the following children: James Calvin and Clarissa Ellen of Mount Etna, Mrs. Harriet RRuth Dempsey of Williamsburg, R. D. No. 2, and Harry Lee, jr., at home. Also surviving are five grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Mary Butts of Henrietta, and a half-sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hainsey, of Frankstown. Mr. Newcomer was a member of the Williamsburg Church of God.
