      <description>NEWFIELD – Victoria “Vicki,” 75, Portage, died Feb. 28, 2003, at home. Born June 24, 1927, in Portage, the daughter of Emmanuel and Adeline (Farinet) Real. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Cecil, Albert and Joseph Real and sister, Margaret Costo. Survived by loving husband of 55 years, Paul C. Newfield; and children, Edward Paul Newfield, married to former Bonita Yarosh, Virginia; Paula Kay Newfield, Portage; and Sandra Marie Newfield, Hollidaysburg. Also survived by grandchildren, Tobi Lee, Nicholas and Ashley Newfield. Sister of Samuel Real, Portage. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Vicki and her friends were avid garage sale shoppers and she loved to play scrabble with her husband and daughter. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Mark A. Serenko Funeral Home, Portage, where vigil for the deceased will be held Sunday evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Portage, Father Walter Moll, celebrant. Resident of Portage area for past 35 years, formerly lived in Somerset. Came to this country 42 years ago. Retired miner, last employed by C. A. Hughes &amp;amp; Company at Benscreek Mine No. 2. Served in Germany navy as a youth. Husband of the former Tillie Keilman. Survived by these children: Mrs. Ann Schwing, Everett, and Fred, both of Philadelphia; Henry J. Jr. and Arthur, both of Portage R.D. 2; William, Martindale, and Paul, Portage; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; also a sister in Germany. Friends received after 7 p.m. Wednesday at H. Blaine Weddell Funeral Home, Portage, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. C. W. Stoner. Jr. and Arthur, both of Portage R.D. 2, and Paul, Portage; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sister of Charles and Arthur, both of Revloc, and Mrs. Catherine Cerwinsky, Portage. In addition to parents and husband, preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Anna Grenning, and three brothers – Fred, Albert and William. Funeral service at 2 pm.
