NEWILL any in Canada from Shropshire UK?

I'm looking for anyone named NEWILL,who knows their ancestors came from Shropshire in the UK in the 19th century. I've found a number of my Newills on passenger lists travelling to & from Canada in the mid 1800's to mid 1900's. I wonder what relations they were visiting??? Can anyone help me locate Canadian Newills of Shropshire descent please?

According to my research, your ggrandfather's name was Harlan Page NEWILL. He married Minnie Myrtle Eva TRAFT. They had 8 children. Your grandfather Marian Page NEWILL was one. Marian married Frances Pearl WIEITZEL. I have no further information on this marriage. If you have information concerning children from this marriage I would appreciate hearing from you.

Actually, I only found out today that my great grandmother was a "Newil" as we had the wrong name for a long time. It seems to be a rare name. Is David in the Wolverhampton area?

Hi...I have to say that I haven't followed the Newills back...as it was my Great Aunt who married into the Newill family...she was Fanny Jane Pearce...and was William's second wife.......so that was my interest.....I have made contact with David Newill and we are to meet up...he was William's Grandson

William Newill, married to Fanny Jane Pearce, was my grandfather. His children were William Arnold Newill (my father) & Avis Newill. FRom an earlier marriage he had a son Thomas Roland (or Roland Thomas) and Elsie.
I have traced the newill line back to George Newill, married in 1800, and have data on other Newills in Wolverhampton.

I'm interested in your Newill history. I'm a decendent of Stephen Newill, through Mary Newill, Sinai Newill and John G. Griffith through Emily A. Griffith and John A Griffin. I'm having trouble finding much on the Griffith's after a couple generations. Thanks.
