I am looking for any information on Charles Oliver Newman who lived in Midway, Al. around 1861. He lived also around Whitewall, Al after the Civil War. His first wife is unknown to me, his 2nd wife was Narcissa Jane Cash. Both are buried at the Old Confederate Soldiers Home in Mountain Creek, Al. He was born Dec. 3, 1842.
His siblings were (1860 Census, Macon Coo., Al., Southern District, page 99):

There was also a Matilda (b. 1845), I do not know if she is a sister or wife to one of these brothers.
