Looking for information on Adelia (Adella, Adelah) Eveline Newsome, b. 8 Jan 1837 in KY. Her mother was Martha Morris 1801-1868 and her father was William Hosea Newsom 1798-1843. She is found in KY 1850 Census at 13 yrs. in 13 District 2, Caldwell Co, KY. Also in 1860 as Eveline McNelly with son, Henry Franklin McNelly (my ggf), at 23 yrs in Pollard Tan Yards, Caldwell Co., KY. She is living with her mother and siblings. I find an Adelah McNelly who married a H.L. Dunning 20 Sept 1860 in Caldwell KY.

My ggf never saw his father, Stephen McNelly (also born in KY according to Henry Franklin's census information) after he left his wife for some reason. He ended up in Texas as did Henry Franklin after he was married to Sarah Elizabeth McAnear in KY. I can find no information on Stephen McNelly other than he lived in Iraan, TX late in his life.
