my grandmother Sweetsie Brown Newsome was born in N.C. around 1903 and married Daniel Oestereich in the 1920's. She gave birth to 13 children (9 boys and 3 girls). She changed her name to Louise and her and grandpa lived in St. Louis. She died Nov of 1973 and Daniel died in 197?. One of her sons was given to her sister in N.C. (who could not have children). Her name was Lee Charleville and the sons name was Richard (born Lillburn Oestereich). I believe her grandmother was a Baptiste. I plan on doing further investigating on the Newsome family after I complete the Oestereich family tree.
