Surnames: Newman or Newton
My line is with Constantine Newton starting abt 1760 is as far back as I have found. My grandfather was Oscar Clyde Newton and he married Alice Newman abt 1910 had a son in 1919 Oscar jr. and my dad in 1924. She had some sort of disease that makes your skin turn black. She died within a year to 5 yrs of my dads birth. My uncle told me there was a house fire and she with just giving birth she did not get over it. If you know anything let me know.
