Looking for info on Frank Amsa NEWVILLE, my great grandfather. He died in New Richmond, WI. Would like to trace him back with his parents. His wife was Eliza A Clark.
He was found in Iowa, but where to from there?

Iva Newville

I'm looking for information on my Great Grandmother's family. Iva was born May 12th 1900 in Barnsville, MN.
I know that her Mother was Rosella Kellum Newville.
Story has it that Rosella was in a bad marriage and left with Iva. As I said this is a family story I have no proof.
Rosella later married a James William Doherty and he adopted Iva and Iva went by the last name of Doherty until her marriage. Iva lived most of her life in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Rosella was born in I believe Kossuth County, Iowa. Her Father was Daniel Kellum.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am researching (attempting to) the Newville Family. The line that I'm looking for is Jocelyn May parents Jacob Van Rensellaer Newville & Emma Bennett. I have found different dates on his birth 11/28/1842 death 5/15/1911 Boyne City. His parents from research are found to be Robert O Newville & Sarah A Gifford. Any information would be helpful. I do have a picture of Jocelyn May. I have been told she died in childbirth of either twins or triplets. She married Cornelius Keel Deits on June 12, 1897 in Atlanta Michigan. That marriage is where my ggrandfather came from. Please help

Does anyone know for sure where this John was born? LDS says in Halfmoon, Saratoga Co., NY. I have also heard that someone has linked him to the Neufvilles in French-Canada (Quebec). There are many of us researching this tree. Does anyone have this info? or promising clues? Is he descended from Jean Neuville in the New Rochelle settlement in 1688?

RITA ALICE NEWVILLE BRANNON, age 81, passed away on January 01, 2006. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on February 27, 1924 to Alice E and Francis S Newville. Rita grew up in Fairmont, Minnesota She was preceded in death by her husband H Raymond Brannon, Jr.

Services will be held at Settegast-Kopf Co. Funeral Home (713-526-2411), 3320 Kirby Dr and internment will be at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
