My maiden name is Ney. I was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1943. My father's name was Allan Ney b. 1904 d. 1964. He was one of thirteen children born in Dundee, Scotland. He told me he was descended from Marshall Michel Ney, one of Napoleon's Generals. He was also related to Richard Ney an actor and film star who starred along with Greer Garson in the film "Mrs Minniver".
