MY FAMILY CAME FROM BLUDENZ / BURS IN THE 1870 s I have been to the area several time and still have relatives there. If your name is neyer and you come from these two towns...your related to every body there with the name neyer and there are many! You are saying the area is in the tirol,but it is the Voarlburg area of austria located in western austria . not to far from the Swiss border! In the area the name is spelled either Neyer or Neier...same clan, just someone got ticked off along the way and changed the spelling.
