I am descended from James Wilson Nicholson/Nickelson, son of William and Margaret (Wilson) Nicholson. His son, Herman, was 1 on the 1860 census in Utica Twp, Clark Co IN. Family migrated to the Elk Creek Nebraska area circa 1867. James died May 1869, buried Mt Zion Cem, east of Elk Creek. (Also in this cemetery is a marker for M A Tibbetts- is this Mary Ann Nicholson, sister to James and Harriett? Must make time to check into this more).
Margaret remarried Joseph Medford, Jan 1870, and remarried John Smith.She is buried in Table Rock Cemetery, Table Rock, NE near some of her sons, and the Smith family plots.

In that same cemetery is a marker for Kaziah Tibbetts. Is this the sister to James and Harriett?

Do you have information on where Harriett is buried? It is indicated that she died in Humansville (MO) and buried in Burr Oak KS. Another researcher and I -she is desc from Harriett also- trying to locate her burial location.
