I am trying to find out any information on my Great Grandfather who lived in Alberta, Canada around the turn of the 20th century. I believe his name was William Nickeson and his father emigrated to Canada from Norway. I also know he owned a small farm somewhere near the Rockies?
His son,my Grandfather was called William Henry Nathan, he took his mothers surname as his parents didn't marry.
