Nicklaus Family in Buffalo

I am trying to find out information on Peter Nicklaus. He came to Buffalo NY from Danzig Germany and left behind at least one brother. He was married to Barbra Rzoska. I have also found spellings of the name as Niklazek, and Nicholaus. Any information on his parents, brother, or other family would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any information on Charles, Leopold or John Nickolaus? They came to St. Louis via New Orleans in the mid 1850s. They seem to have some connection with the Reichert family

John Nickolaus Charles Nickolaus and Leopold Nickolaus or Nicolaus

I am researching the family of Charles Nickolaus who is show by the census of 1860 as living in St. Louis Missouri with John Nickolaus and Leopold Nickolaus. I assume they must be brothers or cousins. I have traced the Leopold Nickolaus family but cannot make a connection. John Nickolaus seems to disappear, at least from St. Louis. All were from Baden. Does anyone know how these threads connect?

One son: Charles Daryl KEARNEY, born Aug. 12, 1944 in Oregon; died July 8, 1965 in Vietnam.

I can locate the family (without Gertrude) on the 1900 and 1910 censuses; family apparently moved or died by 1920.

Thanks,

M.W.
