I am looking for any connection to any Nicolai from any county in Wisconsin. This family seems non-existent as it was originally spelled (Nicolai). My line is through Caroline Wilhelmine Amalia Nicolai b. 1844 in Gotha, Saxony, Germany. She emmigrated in 1854. She married George Henze 1865 in Watertown, Wisconsin. She had one known brother, H.E. Nicolai who , at one time, may have lived in Washington state. Would like to hear from anyone who has this surname in their line.
