Have picture of gravestone, cemetery in Houston County (near Hokah and Brownsville) Minnesota.

This one is very washed out, I couldnt read anything except the name, but I do have a picture of the stone. The first name on this stone is Han, but the N is backwards. Could this be a symbol for "NS" as in Hans? A local dialect maybe.
