John J. Nicka is the Son of Johann Nika(Nika) and Maria Wolfel. He also had a sister Marie who died in childbirth or soon thereafter. John's Father and Mother were from Austria, Johann being from Burganland and Maria from Eisenzieken(sp?)

Funeral Wednesday, 11 a.m. from the Wolniak Funeral Home, 5700 S. Pulaski Rd. to St. Mary Star of the Sea Church for Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
