I am searching for a Benedict Niles in Vermont ca 1859-1862. He fathered two children, Olive b 1859 and Frecerick b 1862. Supposedly they were born in Stamford or Halifax. Their mother was Narcissa Angelina Daboll b. 1828 NY. I find a Benedict in Pownal which is not far from where Narcissa lived in Stephentown NY. Anyone ever come across him?
