Do you have any information on family before Ellef and Bertha? I have information on there 11 children. I am
trying to get information on there decendants. I am the
great granddaughter of Ellef Ellefson the youngest son
of Ellef and Bertha. Ellef was 7 years old when he came
to America. You were also asking about the Stauffers.
Leland was my cousin. If you need more information on
them I can help you there.
Hope to hear from you soon. My sister and I are going
to go to Iowa in May.

Ellef Ellefson 11th child of Ellef and Bertha
Ellefson was my great grandfather. His son
Otto was my grandfather.

Do you have more information on Ellef Ellefson?

Engstrom Nils, age 37 and born in Sweden, along with his wife Selma and their children, Marth and Rudolph, are listed in the 1900 Census for Galveston, Texas.

I am not related to this family, just passing on this information that I found while researching the Hurricane of Galveston, Texas in 1900 and then searching thru the census records for that year. I noticed a few names that were from elsewhere and just wanted to share this information with the list incase someone lost track of an ancestor since they seem to have moved around a lot. I'm researching my family tree I'm not sure of the name but he was the Father of Ellef who was born in 1817 I'm sure he had siblings Ellef had 11 children under the last name Ellefson due to Norways naming pattern. Can you help????
