Looking for info on Jens Nilson (James Nelson) who was married to Emma Hanson. They had at least 2 children, Arthur P. Nelson and Mary Hanna Nelson. Jens and Hanna were Danish and settled in Wisconsin. Don't know when Jens
americanized his name.

I am looking for onformation on Justina Nilsson/Nilson/Nilsdotter who emigrated from Faxerod, Hjarnarp, Kristianstad, Sweden through Denmark to New York in February on 1887. I would like to know what happened to her.

I'm looking for information on Nina Josephin Nelson (possibly Nilson) of Oak Park, Illinois. Her actual first name may have been Nolina. She was born in Oringe, Hallands lan, Sweden in May 1870 and died in Oak Park, Illinois in 1935. Her death certificate indicates her dad's name was Peter. She immigrated to Illinois about 1890 and married Gustave Charles Lind in 1893. She had five children in total: Esther (b. 1901), George (b. 1904), Charles (b. 1906), Homer (b. 1908) and Eugene (b. 1910). Any help on this one would be great!

Born Roy Theodore Nilson Jan. 6, 1928, to Swedish immigrants Axel and Emma Nilson in Brooklyn, N.Y.

He joined the Merchant Marines at 15, participating in the Mirmansk suicide run delivering supplies to allied troops, celebrating his 16th birthday in Russia. He then joined the U.S. Navy at 17, spending his tour of duty in the submarine service.

While stationed in San Diego, he met and married Donna, his wife of 57 years. Settling in Chula Vista, Calif., where he became a San Diego Deputy Sheriff in 1953. He was instrumental in creating the Sheriffs Dept. Crime Lab, which is one of the top facilities today. He retired in 1983.

He and his family relocated to Benson, AZ in 1992.

Known by his friends as Ted, he is survived by his wife, Donna, their three children, Diana Nilson-Campbell, Bob, Rick and three grandchildren, Trisha, Jake and Brent.

Am searching for connections to Anders Petter Nilson (born in Sweden). He came to Carver Co, Minn, USA in 1862 with his father Johannes, step mother Sara, sister Mary, and step brother John. In 1869 they moved to Kandiyohi County, Minnesota. After that I lost Anders. It is possible that he went to Illinois when his grandparents moved there. Does anyone have Anders in their line? Looking for information on Andrew Nilson from Norway, married to Johanna. They lived in Seattle, he was a boat builder. They had a son August Nilson. Johanna was the daughter of Unni Maaren and Henrik Guttormson Engum.

If you have any information or are related, we would like to hear from you. We would also like to know what boat building company Andrew owned/worked at in Seattle, Washington.

Erwin Clarence NELSON (AKA Irvin, Irving) was born May 24 1898 in Idaho Springs, Clear Creek County, Co. He died Dec 7 1945 in Bisbee, Arizona and was buried Dec 10 1945 in Bisbee City Cemetery, Cochise County, AZ. Erwin married Madge ADAMS, daughter of Scott ADAMS and Rose STARK, on Jun 20 1920 in Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona. The marriage ended in divorce.
