My wife Margaret's maiden name was Nimmons
and she used to live in Northern Ireland,
her father's family came from randalstown,
Co Antrim. I have tried most of the search
engines for her acestory without much luck.
Margaret was told that the name originates
from France, where they were persecuted as
hugenots in the middle ages and emigrated
all over the world.
