Surnames: WUNDER, WONDER, SONKSEN, SOENKSEN, NISSEN, KNIXMILLER, LARSON
Looking for ancestors.........Jurgen Nissen who was married to Wilhelmina (Wunder/Wonder) & lived in Schiller, ND McHenry County & yhey were in the 1920 census yet, at age 64+. They had a son Theador Nissen. Wilhelmina was the sister of my G grandfather Wilhelm(William) Wunder/Wonder born 1850 in Prussia Germany & came to America in 1870, living in different towns in Iowa & finally settling with his family in Battle Creek, IA & is buried there.
