I have previously been looking for my grandfather Robert Alexander Nix dob 1881 dod 14 July 1940. He was married to Jennie Bell Cowan in Giles Co. TN. I too found a brick wall until I found from a cousin that his name was really Robert Allen Nix. I do know that Robt. Alexander Nix is impossible to find information on. Just a hint for you.
