My ggg-grandmother, Elizabeth Nixon was b. 1793, PA,m. 28 Aug 1818 in Jefferson Co., OH, to Joseph Shane. Other Jefferson Co. marriages include Jane Nixon to Michael Johnston, 17 Mar 1828; Andrew Nixon m. Mary Scarlott 5 Mar 1840. These families are found in Holmes Co., OH in the 1840's.
