WAPELLO, Iowa - Joyce C. Noah, 62, of 13438 H Ave, Wapello, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001, at Unity Hospital.
Services will be at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Ostrem of the Zion Lutheran Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jamie Noah, Jeremy Noah, Jerry Beeding, Fred Miller, Bernard Moore Jr., and Jim Beaham. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
Mrs. Noah was born on Jan. 21, 1939, in Muscatine, the daughter of Ernest and Charlotte Hanchett Moore. She married Don Noah on June 10, 1955, in Muscatine.
She was a cook at L-M High School.
Survivors include her husband, Don Noah of Wapello; three sons, Donald Noah Jr. of Athens, Tenn., Roger Noah of Letts, Wes Noah of Muscatine; one daughter, Becky Noah Ortiz of Muscatine; seven grandchildren, Brandy Noah, Jamie Noah, Jeremy Noah, Darcy Noah, Devin Noah, Brady Thuman, Jaden Ortiz; one great-granddaughter, Bailey Noah; her mother, Charlotte Moore of Muscatine; three bothers, Bernard Moore of Muscatine, Ronald Moore of Muscatine, and Robert Moore of Muscatine; seven sisters, Della Kienast of Walcott, Jenny Suhr of Montpelier, Ernestine Vande Weerd of Ft. Worth, Texas, Carolyn Beik of Muscatine; Madonna Kirchner of Keithsburg, Ruthann Beaham of Letts, Jeannie Kay Brown of Muscatine.
She is preceded in death by her father and step-father.
