Surnames: Davies, Nokes, Crawford
My gggrandmother was Jane Davies who was married to Amos Crawford. I had always heard that she died on a ship. Her daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Crawford (my ggrandmother was born in St Joseph, MO. and married William Abner Martin. I just saw where her mother died in St. Louis, MO on a ship called the Mameluke and am wondering if anyone knows more about this, and were there more family members on this ship.
