James Noe's mother's name was Elizabeth. She was born in 1778, and died at the age of 66 at her daughter' house in London. As well as James, Isaac and Elizabeth had the following children:-
Susan, Peter, Abraham (my great,great grandfather) and Elizabeth.
After extensive research, I believe that my Noe family are descended from Isaac Noe and Marie Magdalaine Cosson, who married in London in 1725. The family originally coming from Mer in France. Isaac Noe was born in 1701 and his father was Jean Noe. On several internet sites I have noticed that Jean Noe is named as the father of Isaac Noe, who married Magdaleine Etienne in 1737, but in fact this information is incorrect, and the father of the Isaac Noe who married Magdaleine Etienne was Jacque Noe and his mother was Ann Retif.
