A grandmother's dc I received last week has thrown me into a family I have NO information on. I am most willing to do my own research, however, I cannot read the maiden name of her mother. What I can read is: father is John Noell, born in France (boy! that was a surprise!) and her mother is Sarah V.------born in Virginia. My 2g grandmother, Martha V. Noell Dowdy, is their child. It appears that the maiden name starts with an F and looks like the name "Fodary". I have been searching all the "F" names living in the area of all the John Noells and nothing looks like it could be that name. If anyone recognizes this couple, and can pass along the correct name, I would certainly appreciate it. It's exasperating! Thanks so much.
