Searching for information on descendants of Stephen Jerome Nolen b 1830 in probably Macon County, Alabama.
He married Catherine Eliza Gillis in 1863 in Harrison County Texas, near Harleton and Smyrna.
Steve and Eliza organized a wagon train to California in 1867, but they all ended up stopping in Eastland County, Texas.
Steve and Eliza had 8 children before Eliza died, Steve then married Texana Ophelia Hunt Gray in 1883 and had one child, then married Paulina Sherfield Baker in 1888 and had 6 more children.
