Also looking for information on his brother Maurice Joseph Nolf - b.27 Dec 1894 in Huele,Belgium - emigrated to America in 1912 - was a self employed Auto Mechanic.

Both served in the Army in WW 1.

Trying to get enough information to connect them to the family tree.

I believe I am James Nolf's baby sister. And the name is James not John. The dob matches with my brother as does his dod and the place - Franklin, NY which is the closest town to Barlett Hollow. He never lived in Barlett Hollow but his entire live in Franklin at our mother's house. His father was Roland Cleveland Nolf and I believe he died in 1961 and his mother was Merle Hazel Austin and she died Jan 05, 2000. Jim was married to Cynthia but I do not remember her maiden name and there were no children. I only know his grandparents name on his mothers side - Arthur and Louise Austin.

My lines include Bish, Miller, Neiswonger, Nolf, Silvis

My lines have Mary Magdaline Nolf 1793 - 1886 married to Daniel SIlvis 1798-1873 Clarion Pa. Their daughter was Catherine Silvis 1826-1910. Catherine married Alexander Neiswonger 1826-1863 locations Fairmont City and Clarion...and so on.

I said hi to the wrong person, sorry. As long as I am back on Stella.....I want to tell you that Amy Nolf played the piano, by ear. I was told by a relative of Elsie Dotter,
she could play like a concert pianist. Elsie was Abraham's sister, she live in Carbon Cty. Lehighton PA

Does anyone know what happened to Amy? I was told she move to Philadelphia, but since I had no married name I could not find her.

I do mostly Rape, Reph, Reeb genealogy. I have been with Ancestry since 1999, but under another name.

You used to E-Mail Nolfs to me, but ony last year or two.

I am related to Stella Nolf Sloyer. Emma Nolf was my Grandfather, Abraham's sister. His name was Abraham Reph, or Rape. The will says Rape. Do you have any other photos of this family. I have one that may have Stella in it, I am not sure. If you would like me to send it, I will.
John and Juno which many be John were mentioned in Abraham's will.

I do not have a wife documented for Albert Sr., so Jane Lese may have been his wife. Albert Nolf Jr. was my mom's birth father and he died in Fresno County California (I believe that is the name of the county, I know it started with an 'F' and sounds similar to Fresno, if it isn't the right name.)

Is Duke Eberhard related to the Nolf line? If so, how? Or he is related to one of your other family lines?

Alfred Sr. is my g-grandfather. Alfred Jr. is my grandfather. Augustus' father's name is Casper Augustus Nolf and his mother is Ann (unkown).

Casper was born sometime around 1803 in PA. His father's name was Casper Nolf and his mother Eve Hetrick.

His (Caspers') father was also named Casper Nolf. This one was born around 1771 in Northampton County, PA. He died around 1863 in Red Bank Township, Clarion County, PA. His mother was Philipina Phoebe Bossardt.

One more Casper Nolf appears before the other two. The first one was born May 17, 1739 in Philidephia, PA. He died February 1, 1837 in Armstrong County, PA. His father's name was Lorentius (Lorenz) Nolff and his mother Anna Maria Werner.

Lorentius Nolff Jr. was born December 20, 1702 in Germany. Died October 18, 1772 in Northampton County, PA. His father had the same name and his mother was Elizabetha Lindenmaier.

Lorentium Nolff Sr. was born August 11, 1677 in Grossqartach, Germany. Died March 14, 1742 in the same place. His father was Johann Carolus (Karl) Nolff and his mother was Catherina Bremmer.

Johann Carolus Nolff was born January 27, 1650 in Grossqartach. Died October 25, 1710 in Grossqartach. His father was Johann Wendel Nolff and his mother was Anna Auberger.

Johann Wendel Nolff ws born December 13, 1625 in Grossqartach. Died September 25, 1675 Grossqartach. Father was Hans Nolff and mother was Anna Rieckher.

Hans Nolff was born August 4, 1591 in Grossqartach. Died October 25, 1626 in Grossqartach. His father was Lorentz Nolff and mother Ann Schnepf.

Lorentz Nolff was born around 1563 in Grossqartach. Died around 1654 in Grossqartach. His father was Hans Nolff and mother (unknown) Walpurga.

I hope this helps at least a little. I haven't been able to find anything more on this line so far.

I have Silas' death date as being January 19, 1960. His father was a farmer and presbytarian I've got Nolfs going all the way back to the 1560s.

I have Silas Charles as having Mary Jane Schoolcraft as his mother. Alfred Earl Sr. was my g-grandfather. I never knew my grandfather, (his son Alfred Jr.) because he divorced my grandmother and got married to someone else.

Mr. John Nolf, of Pine township, died Thursday morning aged 72 years. The deceased is an old soldier and for several years has been almost totally blind. The direct cause of his death was pneumonic consumption. Five children and a wife survive him. His remains were interred at Strongstown Saturday.

Stella is one of the Nolf line b.1889.Her sister Amy was b.1890.They are children of John H.(1859-1916)and Emma A.Nolf (1865-1916)
They are descendents of Laurentius Nolff and Ana Maria Werner who came to America on the "Charming Nancy" and were enumerated at Philadelphia 7 Oct 1737.Laurentius and Anna settled in the Easton area in Northampton Co.,Pa.
