Ruth A. Noonan, of Brookline, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009. She was born Jan. 11, 1921, daughter of the late James J. Sr. and Winifred V. Noonan; sister of Marie Laurent, of White House Station, N.J., and the late Helen Korb, James J. Noonan Jr. and John L. Noonan. She was a graduate of St. Mary of the Mount High School and worked her entire career as Executive Secretary to several vice presidents and president of US Steel.
