His last named was Erickson and enlisted in Swedish Army--they changed last name to Norbeck because too many other Erickson's in unit. Louis died May 15, 1898 in Kansas City, MO buried in Elmwood Cemetery --Anna d. July 17, 1899 also in KC, MO- Elmwood Cemetery.

d.Dec 11, 1944 Los Angeles Co. CA Also lived in VA, KY, MO and KS. Married first wife before 1889 in ? Could be VA, KY, MO. Had a son Robert J.(or E.) Norbeck b. abt 1889, prob. in KC, MO. Second wife Cora F. Masters married KS bet 1895 and 1905.
Had 2 daughters: Breta Amanda b.1905 d. 1967 and Anna Cora.

Daughter: Cora b. unk married a man named Guy

Andrew Erickson Norbeck's daughter Breta Amanda changed her name as an adult to Betty and married an Oscar Merle Bell in CA 1926. (my family line)

Keokuk Ward 5: L Norbeck age 56 Laborer b. in Sweden, Annie age 56 b. in Sweden, Christi age 11 b. in Sweden, Cora age 14 b. in Sweden, Andrus/Andra (Andrew) age 8 b. in Sweden. In the 1880 MO Census for Jackson Co. Dist. 14 Louis and Annie are still 56 yrs old and Andrew is 17, all born in Sweden and all parents b. in Sweden. In the 1889 -1891 KC MO city directory Andrew and Louis are both listed working as teamsters or drivers.

Looking for decendants of Robert Norbeck and Andrew's siblings. Already have contact with a decendant of Cora Norbeck married to George Guy. Breta married to Nelsasi may have stayed in Sweden.
