I have just joined the Oxfordshire genealogy list and was reading old messages. I don't know if I have had contact with you already through Genes Reunited?

I am searching for Norketts reportedly coming from the Henley area but have nothing to prove this.

At the moment I am working from my grandfather back but have got stuck. Do any of these names appear in your tree or research notes?

Alfred James Norkett born c1881 (my grandfather) married Clara Cummings 1911
father of Alfred shows on marriage certificate as John Edward Norkett no birth date (my great grandfather)
There was a younger brother whose name might have also been John but remembered as Jack.

I see you have an Elizabeth Norkett, did she have a brother John Edward?
