Hi, I have just started this family tree lark. My mother's name is Norkett and was born in Maidenhead. Her father was John Frederick Norkett b 09 jul 1912 d 26 jan 1975 who married Ivy Grace Prosser 4 sept 1937. They children are Georgina, Teresa, Margaret, John, Josephine and stillborn twin brother. Gfather was again John Frederick Norkett b Littlewick Green nr Maidenhead and he married Margaret Gladys Green, she was born at Silver Street Reading. They lived in the Reading and Maidenhead areas. But have no dates of births, marriage and deaths. I believe their had a Son Richard/Dickie and a couple of daugthers, one called Daisy. I have a note from Daisy married name Lee from Cheapside Ascot. I hope this may be part of your family and that you can help me too.
