I'm trying to write my family history of us having a camp at Pocahontas Co. WV, Sitlington road as we were growing up. My parents knew a family that was a brother & sister that had a camp on Sitlington road as we were growing up. Their last names were Norman's. They I believe bought the camp years ago off of the Hammacks or Hamricks. I'd like to have the obit's on this brother & sister & information I can have on their family & if you have any thing on the Hammacks or Hamricks too. Thank you so much for any thing you can do, I sure appreciate it. They lived in West Virginia.

My grandmother was Elisabeth Norman from somewhere around Dyersburg Tenn. She was married to John Burkeen from around Decaturville Tenn. She is buried in Brownsville cemetary at Hickman KY. She died in the 1950s. Her children were Willie, Iley, Mary Patterson, Taft, and my mother Dorothy Patey.

My great grandfather was George Washington Norman, I may have a couple of sources to try and find out about his father...Please contact me if you would like....My grandfmother was Susan Eunice Norman Wilson.

George Washinton Drumm born Dec. 1859 married Nathalina(Arthelia)Norman born about 1840 in Ohio died about 1908. The parents of Nathalina Norman were William Norman and Rebecca Allen.

Looking for parents of William Albert Norman (1865-1951). Born in Williamson (IL) or nearby county, married Alvena Benner in Posey Co., IN 1894 or before, raised family there. Died in Evansville, IN while living with his youngest child, Malcolm (Mac) Norman. Buried in Crunk Cemetery in Posey Co. with wife and 3 children who died very young.

Any information appreciated.
