Surnames: NORRIS CRANE FRAZEE BONNELL MILLS
You Henry NORRIS seems to be the person the beginning of the lines that go down to CRANE BONNELL FRAZEE etc of and around Elizabeth/town, NJ.
It would appear that several have Esther NORRIS, dau of Henry and Abigail as both wives to a Stephen CRANE and a John CRANE. Yet they have her birth years about 20 years apart.
I wish to make sure which is the correct Esther NORRIS who was mother to Elizabeth CRANE who married Samuel BONNELL who had daughter Lydia J who married Samuel Maxwell FRAZEE.
These family surnames, of course, blend well with my MILLS and related families, also Westfield, Essex Co. NJ and surrounding other counties.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. And of course, am sure all others would like to know which is correct, or if in fact, is correct. Just that Esther married the 2 CRANE men, actually 20 years apart?? If that is possible. I do not have all the children for Esther, either. I am for now, following just the one line.
I noted also on some previous and following postings that CRANE could also have been CRA I N, as they went along to Northwest Territory (now Ohio). Could that be the other family of Esther and John CRANE??
