Searching for the proof that Sarah Northam was daughter of Samuel Northam and his wife, Mary Dickinson. Samuel's son, Jonathan, was court appointed guardian of Sarah and John Hopson's children, Mary and John, in 1714 at Colchester.(A Digest of the Early CT Probate Records,
