Mathias NOTH came to America from Germany in 1881. Married Maria Gracher (Grager). First child Maria Born August 24, 1882 in Cook County Illinois. Other children, Peter, Matthew, Ed, William, and Rosa. Last name was changed to Noeth. Possibly because typewriters could not put the two dots above the "o" as they did in Germany. Would like info on where Mathias and Maria came from in Germany, and parents and siblings.
