OBITUARY
NOWACZYK, JOHN J., (NOVAK),
2420 Narloch Street,
Formerly Mercer Street.
Passed away July 15, 1964, at his residence, after an illness of six months. Age 66 years. He was born May 5, 1898, in Saginaw and has been a lifelong resident. On Aug. 26, 1924, he married Pauline Sikorski, in Grand Rapids. Mrs. Nowaczyk was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church, Star of Liberty Club of St. Rita's Parish, American Polish Falcon Club Nest No. 124, and U.A.W. 668 Retiree Club. Surviving besides his wife are seven sons and two daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Mary) Siler, Breckenridge; Joh J., Robert, Stanley, James, Bernard, Joseph and Edward Nowaczyk and Mrs. Edward (Theresa) Majewski, all of Saginaw; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Kostrzewa and Mrs. Marie Susalski, Saginaw; Mrs. Helen Mallak, Bradenton, Fla.; three brothers, Walter Nowaczyk, Saginaw; Anthony Nowaczyk, Zilwaukee; Joseph Nowaczyk, Bay City. Funeral service will take place Saturday at St. Rita's Church at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday at the Waier Funeral Home, 1218 N. Michigan.
